Yoga Teacher Training
The 200 Hour Program
Next training - Summer 2014
Part 1 - July 19-27, 2014 Part 2 - August 16-24, 2014
Are you looking for an entry level teacher training program? Or, just looking to further your yoga practice? Our in-depth 200 hour Tandava Yoga Training Intensive will give you the tools to teach from your own body knowledge, personal experience, and interests. You will learn the many facets of teaching yoga, from asana and pranayama to the internal practices of stilling the mind and attuning to the subtleties of the energy body.
Knowledge comes not only from theories or prescribed methods but from on-going practice and exploration. As an integrated practice on and off the mat, this training becomes a catalyst for physical healing, psychological growth and spiritual awakening. The Kripalu style of yoga deeply influences our program with a foundation in personal development and bringing your practice into everyday life.
Upon completion of the program you can apply to receive accreditation with Yoga Alliance as a register 200 Hour Yoga Teacher. For more detailed information on the 200 hour program curriculum click here.
I’ve always been a seeker. A seeker of truth. I found truth in practicing and embodying yoga. My truth. I found my way from Vancouver, BC to Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Western Massachusetts in 1998 to learn more about yoga but to also learn about myself. I was blessed during my 5 years of living and working at the center to have studied, produced programs and spent ‘off the mat’ time with many inspiring teachers. Those who have most influenced my practice and therefore my teaching include, Yoganand Michael Carroll, Stephen Cope, Donna Farhi, Erich Schiffman, Angela Farmer, Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest, Emily Conrad, Rodney Yee, Julia Butterfly Hill, Thomas Ashley Farrand and Rod Stryker. I completed Landmark Education’s Graduate Programs and graduated from the acclaimed Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2003. I studied with Richard Miller and completed Level 2 Yoga Nidra training in 2008. I am currently co-director of Trinity Yoga Centre’s 200, 300, and 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training programs. My practice on and off the mat continues to evolve with the nondual teachings of Mickey Singer and Gurudev Shri Amritji (Yogi Amrit Desai). I am passionate about food, my beautiful children, my kitty cat, and being a stand for others awakening into their truth. Namaste.
